I spent a good portion of my time over at my parents’ home this week due to my husband being away on yet another one of his work trips. And for the first time, I packed his suitcase with fat sweaters and scarves; he was Wisconsin bound. So while he was freezing, I was only semi-freezing. I had packed up my new camera to take with me to my parents’ home and went out the next morning into their backyard to play around with it. The night before had frozen all the last of the summer flowers that were still bloomed, but I found this little perfect one. I couldn’t resist taking a snap {and even chased away a spider from it so it wouldn’t ruin my picture}. {image via my Flickr}
