Very soon, my husband will be leaving me for 10 days to go on an install {he’s an engineer}. This means girly sleepovers and some nights over at Mom’s. Looking forward to those, but definitely not looking forward to not seeing my husband for that long! I’m also going to be attending a woman’s conference at my church this weekend. Looking forward to that! In the meantime, I’ll continue working on some more Christmas cards. This week was very slow with them because I’ve been taking a break to let my grumpy knee relax and heal. Somehow I messed it up to the point where I can walk just fine, but when it comes to bending it, it hurts. What an unfortunate predicament to find myself in!
But I did manage to release some Christmas cards for you look at! Take a look here. And a bridal shower invitation as well! I also mentioned another giveaway of sorts. Check it out here to see how you can win!! And if you haven’t visited the new site of Short & Sweet Design yet as I posted here…then you must! And oh, such exciting news! I was featured on Southern Weddings! Yes indeed! Check out the lovely post here! And if you want to see even more goodies, make sure you visit photographer Daniel Usenko’s blog post!
And how about some fun links for the weekend?
A milk & cookies shoot? So cute!
Heather Kincaid has delivered another set of beauties.
This photo shoot is a dream!
I love this set of four images from Luna.
Loved this wedding by Daniel Usenko. It reminds me of fresh linen.
Taking pictures in Europe? Benj Haisch is too lucky.
I’ve always been inspired by photography where it seems like Grace Kelly or Jackie Kennedy were the brides. I found one image by Yuriy Manchik that I just plump fell in love with its charm and grace and it reminded me so much of an advertisement I saw in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine: a Biltmore ad using one of Audrey Goforth‘s images. {image one: Yuriy Manchik; image two: Audrey Goforth}
Illustrator Zara Picken is just wonderful!
Well, that pretty much concludes this week’s list. What are your plans for the weekend? Doing anything exciting? Well, I’m off to go eat a pomegranate. That’s another reason why I love fall and winter so much. Pomegranates are in season and my family buys them by the bucketload. They are such a treat.
