Another year, another birthday. I’ve been able to share with you all my last two birthday party invitations since I started this blog, first my Kate Spade inspired ones and then my dripping paint ones. This year, the invitations were just a bit more simple. My theme this year was everything glittering + sparkling. I asked my lady friends to come decked out in something sparkly to make things even more festive. You can see my party decorations here.
Printed on smooth white cover with gray and gold inks, the invitation was made flip-style. On the front, I printed a simple balloon outline and the inside portion had all the party info. I then hand-glittered balloon cutouts with a mix of fine gold glitter and a larger white glitter for an extra fancy look. The glittered balloons were then paired with gold string and secured onto the front of the invitations with mounting tape for a 3D look.
They were inserted into brown kraft envelopes and sealed with metallic gold washi tape.
